In the height of summer, Katie and Sam were married at a beautiful ceremony in the magnificent DeVere Beaumont Hotel, Windsor. The day had been planned meticulously, right down to the wedding breakfast table names featuring characters from The Lord of the Rings. There are, however, events you just can’t plan for and I was concerned about how Sam, the groom, would get through the day on crutches and wearing a large protective boot on his left leg! The answer – extremely well!
The Chapel at the DeVere Beaumont Hotel
Following the marriage ceremony and champagne reception, the Master of Ceremonies summoned guests to the wedding breakfast in the stunning DeVere Beaumont Hotel Windsor Chapel. Built in 1870, The Chapel features an ornate painted ceiling with exquisite stained glass windows including the spectacular Rose Window.
The hotel is located on the historic Beaumont Estate, in Old Windsor, and stands in 40 acres of parkland. Formerly a Jesuit boarding school for over a century, it has undergone a £12 million refurbishment and now the DeVere Beaumont Hotel, Windsor, is a popular wedding venue choice.
