Not only will you be capturing an important part of your love story, but with the enjoyable experience of pre-wedding engagement photos, you will become comfortable in front of my camera for stunning results on your wedding day.
What to expect on your photo shoot
A typical pre-wedding engagement photo shoot lasts about 2 hours. I will work with you to find a perfect location that reflects your personal style or matches the theme of your wedding. We will meet a few hours before sunset. I like to shoot around what, we wedding photographers, call “the golden hour” where possible. The lighting at this time is magical! I like to shoot outdoors (in parks or fields) or a city environment – whichever suits your style. If there is a particular place that’s special to your relationship, let me know.
Shooting pre-wedding engagement photos is fun!
Taking pre-wedding engagement photos is always casual and relaxed. Wear what you are comfortable in. You may wish to bring a few changes of clothes to get a variety of looks, then just leave everything to me. I will be directing you the whole way through to make sure you feel 100% comfortable and looking your absolute best!

We had our engagement shoot with S.R.Urwin Wedding Photography in the summer. We had a wonderful afternoon walking around Oxford and Steve was great! He made us feel comfortable and we all had a good laugh. We can’t wait to have him photograph our wedding next summer!!
